USDA Dietary Guidelines





The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being, and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at our schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

El departamento de servicios de nutrición está formado de un equipo de profesionales que se dedican a la salud, y bienestar de los estudiantes, y su capacidad de aprendizaje. Apoyamos el aprendizaje mediante la promoción de hábitos saludables para la nutrición de toda la vida y las prácticas de acondicionamento físico.

Las comidas, los alimentos y bebidas que se venden o sirven en las escuelas cumplen con los requisitos estatales y federales que de basan en las Derectrices Dietéticas del USDA. Proporcionamos a los estudiantes con acceso a una  variedad de alimentos asequibles y atractivos que satisfagan las necesidades de salud y nutrición de los estudiantes.
